Hawthorn Hill MLK Day of Service
Although we are currently not offering in-person volunteer opportunities at Hawthorn Hill, we are still offering a variety of service projects that you, your family, or your organization can participate in. These activities assist Hawthorn Hill in our mission to establish and operate housing programs for homeless families with children and provide services to help families achieve economic self-sufficiency.

Make a Meal for Families at New Directions Shelter
-
Honor Martin Luther King Jr. by signing up to bring a meal for families staying at New Directions Shelter for the month of January. This opportunity involves preparing (or buying) and donating a well-balanced, child-friendly dinner. The meal needs to feed up to 25-30 people (mostly children). Food needs to be dropped off by 4 - 4:30 pm on the designated day. (Meals are just dropped off; there is no serving involved.) Families will serve themselves. We do have the ability to heat/re-heat as needed. Drinks and/or desserts are not required but are appreciated.

More information will be provided after you sign up. Please complete the form below, and then click Continue. We will contact you within 2 business days to talk about available dates.
